Terms of Service details
Scope
These terms cover repair and servicing work carried out by Fixmate Appliance Care on domestic appliances at your premises within Bengaluru. Agreeing to a quote, in writing or verbally, means accepting them.
Visits, quotes and approval
The visit and diagnosis charge is ₹349 and is payable whether or not you proceed. It is waived in full if you approve the repair. No work beyond the diagnosis is carried out until you have approved the quoted amount.
If the diagnosis reveals a second fault, or the part turns out to cost more than the published range, we stop and re-quote. You are never billed for work you have not approved.
Parts
Spare parts are sourced through authorised channels and are new unless we tell you otherwise in writing and you agree. Parts you supply yourself may be fitted at your request, but they carry no warranty from us and we may decline to fit a part we consider unsafe.
Faulty parts removed from your appliance are disposed of unless you ask for them back at the time of the repair.
Warranty
90 days on our labour from the date of the invoice. Up to 12 months on parts we supply and fit; wear items such as belts, hoses and door seals carry six months. The warranty covers a recurrence of the same fault only.
It does not cover a different fault on the same appliance, physical damage, water ingress, power surges, pest damage, work carried out by anyone else after our visit, or continued use of an appliance we advised you to stop using.
Cancellation and access
Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to two hours before the agreed window. If the technician arrives and cannot get access to the property or to the appliance, the visit charge still applies.
Please make sure the appliance can be reached, that the water and power supply are on, and that someone over eighteen is present.
Liability
We are responsible for damage we cause through our own negligence while working at your premises. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, for the eventual failure of components we did not work on, or for indirect losses such as spoiled food or laundry costs. Our total liability for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
Payment
Payment is due on completion, by cash, UPI, credit or debit card. An invoice showing the work done, the parts fitted and the warranty is issued for every job.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
